PhD Researcher · DTUEntrepreneur

I am a PhD candidate at DTU specializing in the sustainability of energy systems. With a background in energy engineering and software development, I develop novel methodologies for electric vehicles and batteries – spanning degradation modeling, supply chain analysis, charging algorithms, and vehicle-to-grid technologies. As a researcher and entrepreneur, I translate academic rigor into market-ready, AI-driven tools to shape the future of energy infrastructure.

01 / About

Who I Am

PhD candidate at DTU, but also product builder in my free time. My work sits at the intersection of energy systems, sustainability, and artificial intelligence — but what actually drives me is simpler: relentless curiosity. I build iOS apps and web platforms not as a side project, but because I believe the best engineers don't just model the future, they shape it. My mantra is: "the best way to predict the future is to create it". From Copenhagen, learning something new every day and staying uncomfortable enough to keep moving and enlarge my comfort zone.

My thinking is shaped by a few persistent obsessions: the mechanics of markets, the long arc of history, psychology and philosophy — the Japanese kaizen, ikigai and tanren in particular — and the books on personal development that have quietly built the scaffolding of who I am. These aren't hobbies. They're lenses. The same pattern-recognition I use to model energy systems, I apply to understanding human behaviour, civilisational cycles, and what it actually means to build something that lasts.

System Analysis for Absolute Sustainability of Electric Vehicles in the Energy Systems

DTU Profile

My research focuses on system-level modeling to accelerate the transition toward truly sustainable electric mobility. I integrate battery technology, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) integration, and global supply chain analysis to evaluate the absolute sustainability of energy systems. My work spans the entire lifecycle, from cradle-to-grave LCA and battery degradation modeling to prospective assessments of second-life applications and grid-scale storage (BESS).

Mapping sustainability across value chains.

Est. Q3 2026

MApper is a solo research initiative currently in development, positioned as a significant contribution to the sustainability assessment field. The platform enables systematic mapping and analysis of environmental impact across complex systems and value chains. Grounded in the rigorous methodology developed through my PhD research, MApper aims to operationalise absolute sustainability assessment at scale.
